Izraelski napad usmrtio šestero djece u Gazi

U izraelskom zračnom napadu u centralnom dijelu Pojasa Gaze ubijeno je deset osoba, uključujući šestero djece, dok su čekali u redu za vodu, prenose lokalne hitne službe i BBC.

Prema izjavama ljekara iz bolnice Al-Avda u Nuseiratu, osim deset smrtno stradalih, povrijeđeno je 16 osoba, među kojima je i sedmero djece.

Očevici tvrde da je napad izvršen dronom, koji je ispalio projektil na skupinu ljudi okupljenih oko cisterne u izbjegličkom kampu Al-Nuseirat. Ljudi su, kako navode, čekali s praznim kanisterima da napune vodu.

Izraelska vojska je priznala da je došlo do “tehničke pogreške” tokom napada, navodeći da je meta bio jedan pripadnik Islamskog džihada. Projektil je, prema njihovim tvrdnjama, pao nekoliko desetaka metara dalje od planirane mete.

“Napad je imao za cilj teroristu, ali došlo je do tehničke pogreške. Incident je pod istragom”, navodi se u saopćenju izraelske vojske.

Ovo je još jedan u nizu smrtonosnih incidenata u Gazi, gdje civilne žrtve, uključujući djecu, sve češće ginu tokom napada koji se vode pod izgovorom borbe protiv terorizma.
